WATCH: Medical staff from the hospital formed a "clap line" to send off Misael Ochoa after reporting that out of the 10 regional hospitals in Maryland and D.C., he was the 2,500th patient to be discharged.
"I'm happy to have this opportunity to pay tribute to my father to show he was more than just another COVID-19 statistic," said Thomas Sylvester Spann III.
“That was wrong. People were there to protest. They were protesting peacefully and they had their First Amendment rights violated when they were attacked by the police officers."
