Good afternoon.

It's been quite the week. We've learned what the pathway to exiting lockdown will look like nationally, how our young people's exams will be marked in 2021 and we've hit the remarkable milestone of two million people vaccinated in the North West.
Our pandemic-gripped world is changing rapidly and as always we keep you fully up to date on the latest movement on lep.co.uk
What impacts society impacts politics and money and all week our Local Democracy Reporter Paul Faulkner has been sitting through the long council meetings so you don't have to - and finding out how the public purse locally will cope as future budgets are set.
The latest is Preston City Council where the much-admired Preston Model of doing things was under debate, with the hot topic the funding of a community wealth manager on staff to bring more money in.
There is plenty more on the news agenda, including great news that Mowgli restaurant - which withdrew plans to come to Preston - may be reconsidering.
The former Browns nightclub will be the location for luxury apartments..
And for all of your exhausted parents out there, one Preston photographer has captured the home-schooling journey on camera, warts and all!
As always stay safe, enjoy Friday and congrats - you survived another week!
Thanks as always for your support - and your emails which I've really enjoyed this week.
Regards, Nicola
