The Presto pressure canner has been around for ages; I have one from my mother, and it has done a great job. Iβve since updated and purchased a 23-quart Presto, because I can stack pint jars and do more at a time. That stacking ability has been a super helpful feature. The All American pressure canner is also a top-of-the-line canner. You canβt go wrong buying any of the models available. I used to always tell people if you can afford it, go with the All American. However, after having both brands for a couple of years, I find I use my Presto just as much (if not more) as I use my All American canner. So it really is just a matter of personal preference. The Mirro pressure canner is another choice for those wanting to put up vegetables, meat and other low-acid foods. I will say that this brand has VERY mixed reviews.
