Use a Sheet To Protect Plants From Frost
To protect plants from frost, cover rows with fitted twin sheets. Plan early when planting with this in mind.
Harvesting Elderberries
After snipping the 'umbrellas' from your elderberry bush, use a plastic fork (held backwards) to glean the black berries from the vines. Package and freeze. Wash just before using.
Feed Clover to Your Chickens
I had a pretty big clump of clover in my garden and yes, it was intrusive.
