Prejean's Restaurant owner to buy this Broussard restaurant building, to open second location

By ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Good morning, Acadiana. Let's get down to the business news this very fall-like morning.

The news on Monday started out small: Trapp's in Broussard would close because the building and the land it sits on was sold. Then it all came out: Prejean's owner Tim Metcalf is buying the building (the deal should be signed this week) and the land to open a second Prejean's.

The initial plan was to open a third Dean-O's Pizza, but "the building just screamed seafood and Prejean's," he said.

You can read the story here.

Have a great day and see you back here on Wednesday.
