Planet Fitness Opens 261 New Clubs, Reports 20.2 Percent Growth in 2019 Revenue

Planet Fitness reported its 52nd consecutive quarter of positive system-wide same-store sales growth in 2019. The opening of 261 new clubs in 2019 propelled an increase of more than 20 percent in the company's year-end sales.

Coronavirus Concerns Cause Precor, Life Fitness to Withdraw from FIBO

The coronavirus has affected more than 80,000 people worldwide, including 26 people in Germany where FIBO is being held in April. One of those cases in Germany reportedly occurred in a person who had not traveled to an infected country or been in contact with anyone known to have had the virus.

Nautilus Reports 22 Percent Decrease in 2019 Revenue

Nautilus closed a challenging year by reporting decreases in its fourth quarter 2019 revenue and full-year 2019 revenue. However, the company did experience recent growth in its retail segment sales, and CEO Jim Barr remains optimistic about its long-term strategy.
