Pharrell Just Made the Feel-Good Adidas Sneakers We All Need Right Now

There's no one in the entertainment industry who radiates positivity quite like Pharrell Williams. He's so smiley! And says nice things about people! And makes fun music! And he's also done a solid job in translating that positivity and optimism into something wearable, with his longstanding partnership with Adidas. This week, that collection is expanding: Adidas and Pharrell are launching two new colors of the Hu NMD sneaker.
"I’ve always wanted to use my partnership with Adidas to do something different," says Williams. "You know it's going to be a great shoe. I want to add a message of encouragement, something healthy to remind you how important it is to be a steward of good will for the universe."

The shoes themselves are the classic Hu NMD style, which Williams has been making with the brand since 2016. They have a classic Boost sole—comfort is a must for Williams—and a Primeknit upper. They will be for sale online (and in select stores) starting October 2nd, and they go for $220 each.
