Unfortunately, here in D.C. we’re heading into the holiday weekend with dreaded air pollution due to the Canadian wildfires, but we’re hopeful things will clear up in time for 4th of July celebrations. Trapped inside with the world outside a shade of orange, I found reading Paul Richardson’s feature on the island of Príncipe especially alluring. A long time travel writer who has been all over the world, Richardson found the wonder in untrammeled corners of the world renewed after his visit.
