Finally, after almost flipping a coin, decided to start with gymnastics' big, incredible win at Alabama and get into the rest of our list as fast as Haleigh Bryant can zip down the runway and get a perfect 10 on vault. The school just fired long-time coach and former LSU assistant Kermit Davis, and according to a national report speculation is growing that one of the prime candidates to replace him may be former LSU coach Will Wade.WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: No. 5 LSU secured the No. 2 seed in next week's SEC Tournament and a runner-up SEC finish with a win Thursday at Vanderbilt. The Tigers wrap up the regular season at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Mississippi State, a game that is standing room only in terms of available tickets.FOOTBALL: LSU trainer Beau Lowery is moving on to join former Saints coach Sean Payton with the Denver Broncos.TRACK AND FIELD: Day 1 of the SEC Indoor Championships is in the books.
