For instance, I am no PETA member, but after all these years of attacks on fur I thought mink was pretty much over. When I saw the title of Mary Jo's post I wondered, how big a deal could this be? Then I learn that "In 2018, 3.1 million mink pelts were produced in the U.S." The Hungarian-American actor S. Z. Sakall (Carl the waiter in Casablanca) once said "Nobody needs a mink coat but the mink." Now there is another good reason to keep far away from people who wear them. | |
