TokyoDexは、ぺんてる株式会社およびBnA株式会社とともに、次世代のミューラルアーティストを育成・支援する「Pentel × Mural Rookies Project 2025」の実施をお知らせします。 ▪️プロジェクト概要創業80周年を迎える老舗文具・画材メーカーぺんてるが掲げるビジョン「アートを日常に」のもと、2024年に始動した、日本橋から未来のミューラルアーティストを育て、国内外に送り出すことを目指すこのプロジェクト。 日本橋を拠点にアートと宿泊体験を融合させたユニークなアートホテルを展開する「BnA」と、2020年に本プロジェクトの原型となる「Mural Rookies Project」を立ち上げ、アートを通じて社会や企業とアーティストをつなぐTokyoDexが参画。 ▪️プログラムの特徴
昨年の第1回では、国内外から200件以上の応募が集まり、その中から2名のアーティストが選定されました。「Colors of the City」をテーマにABEYUKA.さんがBnA_WALLに、また「Sounds of the City」をテーマにOnoさんがTHE A.I.R BUILDINGにミューラルを制作。うちOnoさんの作品は現在、ぺんてるの茨城工場に展示されています。 今年は、スケールを拡大し選出アーティスト4名、制作拠点3ヶ所へと拡充。 ▪️制作予定拠点 & テーマ

============================================================================ TokyoDex is proud to announce the launch of the Pentel × Mural Rookies Project 2025, in collaboration with Pentel Corporation and BnA Inc.,a program designed to nurture and support the next generation of mural artists. 🎨 Artist applications open until July 7, 2025! ▪️ Project OverviewTo celebrate its 80th anniversary, renowned stationery and art supply brand Pentel is launching a visionary project in 2024 to foster emerging mural artists and share their talent with the world, from its home base in Nihonbashi. Joining forces with BnA, the art hotel known for blending immersive art and hospitality experiences in Nihonbashi, and TokyoDex, an agency that connects artists with businesses and society through art (and the original creators of the 2020 Mural Rookies Project), this initiative transforms urban space into a creative canvas. Together, we’re providing young artists a platform to co-create with the city itself. ▪️ Program Highlights• Full support from rough sketches to final mural production over a two-month period • One-on-one mentoring from professional mural artist Tadaomi Shibuya • Works will be displayed across three key Nihonbashi locations, offering high visibility to both domestic and international audiences In last year’s inaugural program, over 200 artists applied, with two selected finalists: This year, the scale expands: Four artists, three locations, and even more opportunities to share your talent with the city, and the world. ▪️ Production Sites & Themes1. Temporary Construction Wall along Edozakura Street (Exact location undisclosed, Nihonbashi area) • Size: H3m × W25m (divided into two sections) • Theme: Connections of the City • Artists Selected: 2 ▪️ Mentor Introduction: Tadaomi ShibuyaOne of Japan’s leading mural and visual artists, Shibuya is known for his geometric, abstract style and has collaborated with global brands like GIVENCHY, NIKE, and MIZUNO. At its heart is the mission to connect people, art, and everyday life through the cityscape. For participating artists, this is a chance to leave their mark on one of Tokyo’s most historic districts, and take a major step forward in their creative careers.
