TODAY'S EPISODE: Breaking down new-look Patriots |
Tom Brady is gone. What else will change for the Patriots in 2020? Ben Volin of The Boston Globe joins me to break down a wild offseason in New England. Brady departing wasn't the only roster change that went down this offseason. The Patriots let some of their high-profile defensive stars reach the open market and leave in free agency, but digging a little deeper, the 2020 NFL Draft signaled a major shift in what their offensive philosophy might look like as soon as the 2020 season. Do they have enough to win the division again? And more? |

Ravens get one huge scheduling advantage |
Little did you know (or maybe you already did???) some teams benefit every single NFL season by simply not having to travel as much to play their games. It sounds crazy, but look it up -- teams who are forced to go all over the country -- sometimes consecutively -- are at a disadvantage. It has been a long offseason for Mr. John Breech when it comes to his tireless analysis of the 2020 NFL schedule, but this might be his best work yet. As if the Ravens weren't already at a big enough scheduling advantage based on their opponents projected win-loss records, we've got news for you -- they also benefit from a massive traveling advantage. As for Seattle, well, you might want to lower your expectations a bit. |

STIDHAM 2020 OUTLOOK: WHAT QB MUST DO TO TAKE RIGHT FIRST STEP |
The Patriots seem gung-ho about entering the 2020 season with Stidham having an excellent chance to be their starter (paging Mr. Cam Newton anyone??), but he's still got a long way to go in his development. Lucky for us, Chris Trapasso took a really, really deep dive into Stidham's game. He's got the lowdown on what the young quarterback must do -- and quite frankly what the Patriots must do -- in order for Stidham to find success in 2020. |
