De-Skunking Your Dog
We live in a rural area and our dog gets "skunked" at least once a year. This is how I have learned to handle it. I developed this method through trial and error, and unfortunately lots of practice.
Cat Window Perch
To make a cat window sill perch, cut a board as long as your window sill, and as wide as you want the perch to be. Take a piece of carpet, cover it, and staple excess under the board.

How can I train my 11 month American Pit Bull to stop running out the gate when someone comes in or out of the yard? She has done it twice now and got attacked and injured really badly.

How do I house train an older dog? I have a 3 year old Shih Tzu and she pes and poops on the floor. I take her for 3 walks a day, but I also have to keep her on a leash. I want her to learn how to go loose without leaving the lawn. She has gotten loose on me a few times.
