Good afternoon,

Nutan Patel-West never planned to be a paramedic. But after 10 years with the North West Ambulance Service, the former Penwortham Girls' High School pupil is one of those featuring in the BBC documentary series Ambulance tonight.

Make sure you tune in, with the show coming on the eve of Preston celebrating its keyworkers as part of the Mayor's Thank You parade and fireworks on Saturday night. We've got all you need to know about that in a handy guide.

Thanks for reading,

Adam
