Panasonic Electric Works has introduced a new range of PaPIR - horizontally wide detection type / "Hammerhead" sensors

Panasonic Electronic Works has succeeded in setting a milestone in the development of motion sensors and their optics. Its new infrared PaPIR - horizontally wide detection type / "Hammerhead" is equipped with an innovative, patented lens that increases the sensitivity of the sensor regarding radial movements. The new type with a horizontal field of view of 150° and a vertical field of view of 35° (+10°/-25°) compliments the product families EKMCxxx and EKMBxxx with digital output and different standby currents of 1μA, 2μA, 6μA, and 170μA.
