The activist group P.A.I.N. criticized a potential settlement that would allow members of the Sackler family to maintain billions of dollars of their personal wealth and face no criminal liability for its role in the opioid epidemic.The group, led by artist Nan Goldin, called the proposed settlement “justice for sale, not justice for all.”In Other NewsAfter his release from the hospital on Monday, Donald Trump staged a stoic appearance on the White House balcony, which has since been likened to the famous balcony speeches of the fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.At the Christie’s 20th Century Evening Sale auction, a Tyrannosaurus rex nicknamed Stan sold to an unidentified buyer for $31,847,500, massively eclipsing its projected value.
