Did you have a good summer? Did you go to the beach and leave salty and a little on the red side? Did you wear all those outfits you spent all year thinking about? Did you make a trip back home to be reminded why you overpay for everything at every turn to live in the city? Did you do at least one properly ridiculous dumb thing, like - oh, I don't know - spontaneously hitting up ARF in East Hampton and adopting a puppy? A puppy who's looked at you every day since like, "Girl, you did not think this through did you?" ... Just me? For those prone to seasonal nostalgia, sit with William Wordsworth's lines for a hot second. "What though the radiance which was once so bright Be now forever taken from my sight, Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower; We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind..." namely, in this case, in Fashion Week, the Fall Gala Circuit, and in just over a week's time, our Martini Master Class Soirée! There's lots to be excited about, so cheer up. |
