| Dear Friend, During this time of uncertainty, KQED is making a promise to you and our entire community:
| • | For your safety: We’re continually providing quality up-to-the-minute coronavirus news and information. | | | • | For your mind: We’re expanding our educational and at-home learning resources for children. | | | • | For your soul: We’re adapting our arts & culture offerings for our new reality. | | KQED is here for you. Please donate today to ensure that you and everyone in the community have continued access to everything we have to offer. As California grapples with the growing coronavirus outbreak, we’re covering the latest health, policy and economic news in the Bay Area and beyond.
We’ve rolled out a new educational schedule for broadcast on KQED Plus as well as free corresponding digital learning media and activities for at-home learning. We’re also providing support for teachers and parents in navigating this new learning landscape, including free webinars, podcasts and articles full of useful tips. KQED is also leading the charge to find new ways to connect at a time when all movie theaters, museums, live music and arts venues are closed. The Do List has temporarily reconfigured itself into The Do (From Home) List to keep you entertained. Suggested activities now include online experiences, books to read, music to listen to, movies to watch, and safe outdoor excursions. Please help us continue to adapt and strengthen our public services by giving what you can today.
| Thank you, | | DeLinda Mrowka Chief Audience Officer |
