We knew the Native American mounds in the heart of campus were old, but new research suggests they go back 11,000 years — and you're unlikely to find anything older on our side of the globe. When a crack in the Sunshine Bridge caused one lane to close, some people wondered if a bigger closure was going to happen. Well, it is: the bridge is going to close entirely this weekend for repairs. This story explains why, and how many people could face traffic woes. Hopefully Baton Rouge won't get hit with 250 mph winds, but if it ever does, this new building should be able to stay standing.
