Ottawa 67's Sign, Ottawa Senators Draft Pick, Tyler Boucher

The Ottawa 67s signed forward Tyler Boucher, the 10th overall NHL draft pick, on Monday evening.

The 18-year-old was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2021, and in 2019 was chosen 143rd overall by the 67s in the OHL Priority Selection.

67s Trade Alec Belanger to Kingston

On Monday, January 10th, the Ottawa 67s traded defenceman Alec Belanger to the Kingston Frontenacs. In return, the 67s will add three future draft picks; a second-round pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection (Niagara), a third-round pick in 2024 (Sault Ste. Marie), and a fifth-round pick in 2025 (Kingston).

19-year-old Belanger was a tenured member of the Barber Poles roster, as he started his OHL career here as a third round, 44th overall draft pick, in 2018.

67s Trade Sirizzotti to IceDogs

On Monday, January 3rd, the Ottawa 67s traded forward Brenden Sirizzotti to the Niagara IceDogs in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2023 OHL Priority Selection, which originally belonged to the Guelph Storm.

Sirizzotti was selected in the second round, 32nd overall, by Ottawa in 2019. In 30 games played during the 2020-21 season, the 18-year-old from Whitby has 18 points, broken down into seven goals and 11 assists.
