Thanks to our wonderful Ottawa community for helping to make our OTL WorkSpace a reality! Together we raised over $2,000 to help construct the WorkSpace. Our friends at Makerhouse Co. also donated $3,208 through their #CraftChange program, making it an essential contribution for our addition to become reality. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we appreciate your support.

The OTL WorkSpace is our effort to provide a safe, approachable workspace for our members to build their next project. It features a series of benches equipped with a solid collection of shop tools, and also has a number of larger power tools which can be used at any of the benches. We’ve been building and equipping the space, planning the rollout, developing our orientation and safety course, and training volunteers. We’re aiming to open the doors on May 1st.

Those looking to use the OTL WorkSpace will need to purchase a separate daily or monthly pass to access the space (currently $20/day or $80/month). All users must first take our WorkSpace 101 course, which will be offered regularly. Course spots can be booked via Eventbrite.
