At Tuesday’s nonwaiver trade deadline, the Orioles took their rebuild to the next step of moving players who are controllable beyond this season.
The Orioles first sent right-hander Kevin Gausman with injured reliever Darren O’Day to the Atlanta Braves and then traded second baseman Jonathan Schoop to the Milwaulee Brewers.
