Product Highlights | Announcing UEK Release 7 Update 2 for General Availability Oracle Linux with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 7 Update 2 (UEK R7U2) v5.15.0-200.131.27, based on the upstream 5.15 kernel release is supported by Oracle Linux 8 (OL8) and Oracle Linux 9 (OL9) on Intel/AMD x86_64 and Arm aarch64 platforms. The Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 7 Update 2 (UEK7U2) can be downloaded from the Unbreakable Linux Network (ULN) and yum.oracle.com. Oracle Linux 9.2 Receives IPv6 Ready Gold Logo and Meets USGv6-r1 Standards These achievements mean Oracle Linux 9.2 customers can rest assured that it's ready for deployment in IPv6 commercial and government environments. This is particularly valuable for customers in the government sector, who can be confident their operating system is IPv6 ready well ahead of the US government’s deadline to move 80% of federal systems to IPv6-only networks by the end of fiscal year 2025. Other private and public agencies are likely to track what the US government does, so the popularity of IPv6-only networks could increase in the future. The IPv6 Ready Logo Program is a conformance and interoperability testing program from the IPv6 Forum. Oracle Linux 9.2 with UEK Release 7 Update 1 achieved the IPv6 Ready Phase 2 (Gold) Core Logo for Host, verifying its compatibility with IPv6 environments. Oracle VirtIO Drivers for Microsoft Windows Release 2.1 Oracle VirtIO Drivers for Microsoft Windows are paravirtualized (PV) drivers for Microsoft Windows guests that are running on Oracle Linux KVM on the x86_64 processor architecture.
