Letter from the President

, I am excited to announce the OPTC has extended its lease with the Forest Preserve District of Cook County for the next seven years, plus a three year option. A huge thank you goes out to Barbara Best for spear heading this massive effort! We are excited to begin the next chapter in OPTC’s legacy. Now that we have a lease in place, lets celebrate with a St. Patrick’s themed party! We will be hosting our annual fundraiser early this year, so save the date! March 16th, FitzGeralds in Berwin. It should be an absolute blast, so be sure to invite your friends and neighbors! We are looking for silent auction items, so if you have any items to donate, please email [email protected] or call 312-952-9522. Tickets will go on sale shortly.

Our winter tennis party at Five Seasons was a huge success! Thanks to Helen Kwan for organizing the event this year, as well as Luke, and Mirka for running the drills! Congratulations to Janet Hanley for winning the Grand Prize, a 2018 Season pass.
Speaking of Season passes, it is that time of year again. We are again offering an Early Bird Discount. Buy your 2018 season pass before March 16th and pay last year’s rates.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the annual fundraiser March 16th, when we will have even more exciting news to announce!
