The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says a 45 to 60 year-old man with gray hair and a short gray mustache was in the Alborn area between seven and nine a.m. on Wednesday.

Lt. Governor Smith says Minnesota is annually ranked among the top five states in new patents and is home to many leading technology businesses, with some of those businesses being GeoCom, Tryon Media and LHB Engineering, which are located in the Arrowhead region.

According to the Bayfield Fire Chief, crews were called to the Broad Street Eatery around 8:30 Friday morning. 

Charges have been filed against a Babbitt, Minn., man in connection with six hour standoff with police.
