A Lincoln Park Middle School teacher was formally charged Wednesday with first degree sexual misconduct.

A student has been suspended after allegedly making a threat towards the North Woods School, according to Hibbing Police. 

It happened just before 4 p.m. near the intersection of Hammond Avenue and Lincoln Street.

Gov. Mark Dayton has vetoed the tax conformity and budget bills that state lawmakers passed in the waning days of the session.
