Thousands of students across the country are expected to put their pencils down Wednesday, and walk out of school to demonstrate against gun violence.  

On the final day of witness testimony in Shannon Miller's discrimination case against the UMD, the university called its last witnesses.

Two children and two adults were able to escape with the help of the police department, who woke up the family due to not enough smoke in the attic to activate the working smoke alarms.
