OMICRON IS COMING: Area health experts are warning that its only a matter of time before the highly-transmissible omicron variant sends COVID cases higher in Louisiana. But they also say there's plenty of hope that residents can take precautions (such as getting vaccinated and receiving a booster shot, wearing a mask in some situations and limiting big gatherings) that could help us weather it. Unlike other parts of the U.S., cases and hospitalizations here are very low, but with the holidays coming, the time is now to prepare.
SIX FLAGS AS ART INSTALLATION: For the first time in years, there's movement towards redevelopment at the abandoned Six Flags site in New Orleans east. But while that deal takes shape, an artist is paying homage to the empty amusement park with a new installation. Doug MacCash has the story.
VIDEO VOYEURISM CHARGE: The executive director of non-profit ARC of New Orleans was arrested and booked with five counts of video voyeurism and one count of sexual battery earlier this week.
