Thursday, April 18, 2024 Olympic Qualifier Series Part 2 – Budapest, Hungary – Information for the media
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Qualifier Series Budapest Local Organising Committee (LOC) are pleased to announce that the media accreditation process for the Budapest event will run from 19 April to 27 May 2024. Media interested in attending this event are asked to apply for an accreditation by following the instructions below.
General information
The Olympic Qualifier Series, a key project under Olympic Agenda 2020+5, brings together the best athletes in BMX freestyle, breaking, skateboarding and sport climbing in a single Urban Park. The two-part series, taking place in the lead-up to the Olympic Games, will be an important step in determining which athletes qualify for Paris 2024.
The Olympic Qualifier series Part 2 - Budapest, will take place from 20 to 23 June at the Ludovika Campus.
Accreditation
Media representatives interested in covering the Olympic Qualifier Series Part 2 – Budapest should submit their accreditation application via the registration portal.
The application period is from 19 April to 27 May (11:59 CEST).
The registration is open for Media Rights-Holders and non-Media Rights-Holders, written press and photographers, as well as writers and photographers working for publications and/or websites of International Federations (IFs) and National Federations (NFs).

Visas and immigration
As the Olympic Qualifier Series accreditation cards will not serve as a visa and will not be delivered before the event, it is the responsibility of each accredited person to verify the documents they need for entry into Hungary.
Accommodation
Information regarding the designated media hotel will be available soon. A dedicated shuttle service will be provided for all official accommodation sites. Accredited media will be able to make their booking requests through the registration system by 19 May.
Transport
Accredited media can use the Olympic Qualifier Series Budapest 2024 transport services operating between the airport and designated hotels.
The shuttle service operated by the Budapest LOC will be a shared bus service connecting the Urban Park and the official accommodation sites.
Media facilities and services
The media centre is located in the Urban Park on the Ludovika Campus, where all the sports competitions and activities will take place.
It will be operational from 18 to 23 June 2024.
Other media facilities in the Urban Park include mixed zones, and camera and photo positions.
