Good day, everyone. LSU's first game in the post-Ed Orgeron firing era just happens to be against his good friend — and potential successor — Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin. The Tigers play the No. 12-ranked Rebels at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, the game to be televised on CBS. Sheldon Mickles writers that guard Adam Miller, a transfer from Illinois, will miss the season with an ACL injury. There are still a couple of doubters, but LSU's 49-42 upset of Florida last Saturday has the Tigers' bowl prospects trending upward again. Sort of. The Quick Lane Bowl in Detroit, anyone? Before you go, check out Wilson Alexander's feature about the return of defensive tackle Glen Logan from a broken foot, and how well he meshes with fellow lineman and best friend Neil Farrell Jr. Until next time, The LSU beat team (Scott Rabalais, Wilson Alexander, Leah Vann, Sheldon Mickles, Devin Jackson and Patrick Magee) |
