Old Reptile Tannery building sold

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

The building that for years housed the Reptile Tannery of Louisiana near the Freetown area of Lafayette has been sold.

You may have visited there once or twice. The building was one of those places people would put on lists of places to see in Lafayette.

It's not official when they left the 95,000-square-foot building and moved its operations to Hammond, but I was told it was just over a year ago.

The buyer did not share plans for the building when we spoke but noted an announcement could come in about a month.

You can read my story here.
