For 148 years, the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club was an ivy-covered bastion of civility with a roster of like-minded, blue-blooded members. Then an old-money-versus-new-money clash erupted.

When Renée Tse moved into her new Innisfil townhouse, she was eager to take advantage of the vertical space for her extensive book collection. She and her sister came up with the idea for a 22-foot custom bookshelf. Their mother, a graphic designer, drafted the design, and a cousin built it.
