State health officials urge: Seek care, vaccinations when needed. Minnesota on Monday reported four new deaths tied to COVID-19, the lowest level in more than two months. Citing national data showing drops in ER visits recently, state health officials reiterated that Minnesotans should seek immediate emergency medical care if they think they are experiencing a heart attack or a stroke or have low blood sugar or other serious medical conditions. “Our health care systems are ready to care for you safely” despite the pressure from COVID-19, said Kris Ehresmann, the state’s infectious disease director. Just a day after Sunday's shooting in the city's Uptown neighborhood, Minneapolis police are investigating a shooting on the city's north side Monday that left four people wounded. A police spokesperson says all four all are expected to survive their injuries. In Charlotte, N.C., 2 dead and 7 wounded in a shooting at a block party today. Police saidmultiple people fired into a crowd of about 400 people at a party, which was a continuation of Juneteenth celebrations.. Five people were hit by vehicles, too.
