October is here and it's time for the cooler temperatures to come on in!!! Well, hopefully! As of this writing, we are still in the high 90's and have had 36 straight days with no rain. With the shorter days and cooler temperatures it means the leaves will start falling, so please be patient with Briane as he will be working hard to keep the course clean. Take a look at Briane's golf course update in the newsletter.
Happy Hour Fridays, Saturday Morning Breakfast and Sunday Lunch Buffet will be held Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. However, we are offering a few special Friday Night menus in October and November. Check out the details for Mediterranean Night with music by James Poe, Steak Dinner, and Seafood Feast in the newsletter. Happy Hour on November 1st will feature entertainment by Josh Carson.
Come out to the Pavilion on Saturday, November 2 for college football featuring UGA vs Fla. Wings, Hot Dogs & Hamburgers will be served and we encourage members to bring their favorite side dishes.
The Big Cup 3 Man Scramble was a huge success with a full field of 96 players. The 1st Flight Champions are Jon David Judd and Drew and Andy Bacchus. The Member Guest is being hosted October 11-13 with a full field of 120 players. If you are not participating and want to play golf that weekend, call the Pro Shop for a tee time at our reciprocal clubs.
