Baton Rouge police last night held a news conference to announce the arrest of two alleged accessories, and also added two people to the list of those wounded. Now investigators say 11 people were wounded in the shooting at a fraternity party that marred the school's homecoming week. The state Supreme Court says a ban on non-unanimous juries does not extend back to cases previously decided. In a ruling Friday, the state's highest court says that split-jury verdicts from long ago, and not that long ago, still stand. It's not Halloween, but maybe something magical will happen at the LSU-Ole Miss game today. Certainly we're not in the mood for anything scary. Here's how our panel of experts sees the game. |
