| Dear NSC community, Here is the last NSC News Update of the year with the community related activities. Feel free to share the information with your colleagues and invite them to directly join the nanosafety community by subscribing to the NSC mailing list. As decided in the NSC Steering Group meeting (December 19th, by majority vote), the name of our community has been modified to Network for Safety and sustainability of Chemicals and materials (NSC). Our community has a LinkedIn company page, open to the whole community out there! Click on EU NanoSafety Cluster to join πππ€ and stay updated with the latest news and developments in the field of nanosafety. π±π‘
Furthermore, we ask you to report your project related citable research output. Supported output includes journal articles, project deliverables, data, software releases, books and book chapters, and basically anything else with a DOI. You can get a DOI with online repositories like Zenodo (presentations, data, software, preprints, etc). This has the added benefit that you can link this research output via OpenAIRE to your EU grant in CORDIS. This second tool in the HARMLESS SSbD-Decision Support System workflow consists of only 12 main questions (and 3 optional ones) and provides SSbD advice in early phases of innovation. The project will demonstrate the applicability of the SSbD framework aiming at developing and implementing safer and more sustainable alternatives to surfactants, plasticizers, and flame retardants that, beingpresent in daily life products pose a high risk for the human health and the environment (substances of very high concern).
