Special Funding This year, the Nurse Corps Scholarship Programhas reserved special funding for the following areas: Up to 20% of awards reserved for nurse practitioners with a specialty in psychiatric mental health. Up to $5 million reserved for: Registered nurses with a focus in women's health or obstetrics Nurse practitioners with a focus in womens health or an obstetrics and gynecological specialization Certified nurse midwives with a focus in improving maternal health outcomes Up to $2 million reserved for career pathway health professionals such as certified nursing assistants, home health aides, medical assistants, licensed practical (vocational) nurses, and other entry-level health professionals. Note:We give funding preference to those who need the most financial assistance.
