Our guest is Reverend Dr. Lucas Mix from Harvard University, who studies life-concepts across disciplines and wonders, “what is it about life that makes us look for more of it in space?” Lucas is the 9th NASA/Blumberg Chair in Astrobiology at the Library of Congress, holds a doctorate in evolutionary theory, and works to facilitate science outreach to religious leaders. Reverend Dr. Mix also co-hosts the new limited-series podcast, Space on the Page, connecting authors of science fiction and nonfiction with astrobiologists to discuss the search for life throughout the Universe.
