The War Robots celebrates its 10-year anniversary this April! And to this day, we continue developing and supporting it, not only releasing new features for our players but also improving it technically.

In this article, we’ll discuss our many years of experience in the technical development of this large project. But first, here’s a snapshot of the project as it stands:

To maintain the functionality of this kind of project and ensure further high-quality development, working only on immediate product tasks is not enough; it’s also key to improve its technical condition, simplify development, and automate processes – including those related to the creation of new content. Further, we must constantly adapt to the changing market of available user devices.

an operating system

a web server

a database

a programming language

What I’m going to talk to you today is how I reimagined the LAMP stack in an alternative format:

Nowadays, all that I hear all too often is: “I want to become a developer how do I get started?”, “I want to become a developer what laptop do I need?” or “Do I need to buy the latest MacBook to become a developer?” and to be honest, it’s starting to get to me...

It’s one of the oldest markets in the world, but until recently, the average person would never dream of investing in it. Until a Harvard data scientist and his team cracked the code with a system to identify “excess alpha.”

The best part? Everyday people are already benefiting.

The company that makes it all possible is called Masterworks, whose unique investment platform enables savvy investors to invest in blue-chip art for a fraction of the cost. Their proprietary database of art market returns provides an unrivaled quantitative edge in analyzing investment opportunities.

So far, it's been right on the money. Every one of their 16 exits has been profitable, with recent exits delivering +17.8%, +21.5%, and +35.0% net annualized returns.

All users had to do was launch a new program called a "browser," type in a URL and hit return.
