Gonzales restricting music on this year's floats
By KELLY P. KISSEL | Metro editor Changes are in store for this year's Christmas Parade in Gonzales. Organizers say too many floats played music with naughty lyrics last year, so they're limiting which floats can play music. They say most of the music will come from school marching bands. The public had its first time to weigh in about a proposed stormwater removal fee in East Baton Rouge. People are not happy about it, and packed a meeting room at the main library last night to share their thoughts. We're learning more about the shooting of a woman at an apartment complex on Highland Road late Wednesday. Sources tell us the victim's daughter was involved. |
