| It's Tuesday. Time for a poll. Let's talk credit card processing fees. A merchant coalition is now asking lawmakers to pass legislation that would open up the space for other payment networks to process bank card transactions — aka, networks other than Visa and Mastercard, who have both long dominated this territory. It's a move that the coalition hopes will create competition and potentially lower the pain of credit card swipe fees for retailers.
