| Good morning! This may be the heat wave we remember this summer. The overall upper-air pattern is finally kicking into summer swelter mode. And it looks like this heat may stick around for a while. Apple Valley native Cam Schaefer just completed a supported through-hike of the Superior Hiking trail in six days, 18 hours and 45 minutes, the fastest-known time for the trail. Schaefer completed the hike even after a knee injury, blisters on his feet and a bum Achilles. "I limped to the finish," Schaefer said. Ouch. | Forecast |
