NI Covid-19 deaths continue to fall shows latest data from NISRA

In the news today:
* The PSNI has launched an online Major Incident Public Portal that allows people with information, photographs or videos connected to the attempted murder of a part-time female police officer in Dungiven earlier this to submit them to the police.
Detective Superintendent Richard Campbell said had the device actually detonated it would have caused a "fireball" and "engulfed the victim's car".
* Covid-19 related deaths continue to fall in Northern Ireland, according to the latest data published by the Northern Ireland Research and Statistics Agency (NISRA)
Latest figures published today by NISRA show that 10 deaths involving Covid-19 occurred in the week 10th April to 16th April 2021.
* Northern Ireland today takes a “steady but important step” on the road to recovery with the return of hairdressers, sports, and other activities.
It will be great to be back for both small business owners and shaggy-haired members of the public alike.
