The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program awards scholarships to students pursuing eligible primary care health professions training. Its the perfect opportunity to fund your health care career. Get financial support for your education and in return, serve at least two years in a community in need.
What does the scholarship cover?
Tuition and eligible fee Items including books, health insurance, and equipment Monthly stipends to assist with living expenses while pursuing your degree
To be eligible for an NHSC Scholarship you must be:
A U.S. Citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) or U.S. naturalized. Enrolled as a full-time student (or accepted for enrollment). Attending - or accepted to attend - an accredited school or program in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, or a U.S. territory. In an eligible discipline: physician, dentist, nurse practitioner, nurse midwife, or physician assistant. Eligible for federal employment. Without an existing service obligation.
