Classical Physics 201

We invite you to join us in exploring Physics 201: Electromagnetism — the theory and the most important practical applications.

For those who enroll in Physics 201 but missed Physics 101, we offer a free catch-up session explaining what you missed and should know before starting Physics 201.

(Those who took Physics 101 and wish a refresher are also welcome.)

Physics 201 consists of 6 ZOOM seminars, each expected to last about 90 minutes.

Physics 201 includes:

  • Physics of Light: reflection, refraction, mirrors, and spectra.
  • Electric and magnetic fields, static electricity, electric current
  • Maxwell’s equations, electric motors, metal detectors, lightning
  • Electronic circuits, semiconductors and transistors
  • Radiation: long range, applications (radio, TV…), blue skies, red sunsets
  • Physics of human vision, plus …
