| Development Team Sunweb's under 23 German road race champion Max Kanter has secured the stage two win at Olympia's Tour today, out-sprinting fellow fast men after a fantastic team effort in the closing kilometres.
Max said: "Towards the final and after the break were brought back it got really nervous in the peloton, but we managed to stay together well. In the last kilometre Niklas and Joris did really a strong pull to bring me in a good position for the last corner at 250 metres to go. I started my sprint perfectly in a great position and was able to finish it off with the victory. I'm really happy about our performance today and we can look forward to the next stages." |
