CAN amended decisions on cosmetic products

Decision 857

The Andean Community (“CAN” for its acronym in Spanish), through Decision 857, modified Decisions 516 and 833, which harmonized cosmetic legislation (i) allowing governments not to require the printed NSO on products, (ii) the revision and granting of the NSO code, (iii) the validity of Decisions 516 and 833.
