Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim and renowned critic of Islam, revealed she has converted to Christianity in an essay published on UnHerd. Ali originally turned to atheism after becoming disillusioned with Islam in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Multiple news outlets, including CNN, have denied insinuations made in media watchdog Honest Reporting's expose questioning the presence of photojournalists as Hamas launched its Oct. 7 attack on Israel. The report specifically questioned why journalists who freelance for CNN, The New York Times, Reuters and The Associated Press appeared to be at the border early in the morning ahead of the attack.
