Dear Skateistan supporters,
Thank you for your support last year, a year that brought many challenges to Skateistan. In our latest fundraising campaign 'A New Chapter', we're more than half way to our goal of raising $1.5 million by spring this year to continue expanding our programs across the world. There are children all over the world that need a safe place to dream and learn from trusted adults, and we need your support. Help us write a new chapter for Skateistan by making a donation today.

Currently, our Skate Schools in Phnom Penh and Johannesburg are open for in-person sessions, while our New Chapters in Atlantis, Bolivia, Kenya and Jordan are continuing to bring new communities together and empower children through skateboarding for the first time.

Food distribution in Afghanistan

As you know, last August we suspended our programs in Afghanistan as the security situation changed. We said right from the start that we were committed long-term to the children of Afghanistan and that as soon as it was safe to do so, we would aim to restart our programs. We have now begun to run programs again in Afghanistan and we're so happy to meet the needs of our students and their families once more.

What Skateistan learned about teaching remote programs: Bella's story

Bella is 10 and lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The long lockdowns in Cambodia have been really tough for her, but she has learned ways to cope with remote learning. At the same time, we have been learning more about how we can adapt our programs for remote access.
