SPRING AND SUMMER HEALTH TIPS FOR YOUR PETS From Furry Friends Food Bank Annual spring cleaning can expose your pet to harmful chemicals like ammonia, bleach, and chlorine. Even all-natural products can cause stomach problems, so keep your pet in a separate room until all recently cleaned surfaces have dried.
When using rat, mouse, snail, or slug bates, or ant or roach traps, place the products in areas that are inaccessible to your pet. Some baits contain sweet smelling ingredients such as jelly, peanut butter, or sugar, which can attract your pet.
